The story of Djinns began in 1967, as the Sioux Shoe Fabric manufactured a leather moccasin called Grasshopper. Under the name Wallabee the sneakers were exported to England and Ireland where they became part of the urban subculture in a hurry. In the 1980s the shoes found their way into the American hiphop and they have stayed an integral part of that scene throughout the years. Meanwhile Djinns is not making shoes but also cool caps and t-shirts.
