Brand information: lacoste

With three victories in Roland Garros and two at the US-Open and Wimbledon René Lacoste was one of the most successful tennis players of the 1920s. Because he was a unbelievable tenacious opponent, who never gave up, he got the nickname „crocodile“. A friend of him made him a few tennis shirts with a crocodile on it, which caused a stir immediately. Prints or embroideries on sportswear were not common at that time. When Lacoste ended his carreer, he founded the fashion label with the same name. He rolled out some t-shirts with the crocodile, which today is one of the most famous trade marks in the world. Lacoste stands for high quality and exklusive clothing. Even today the brand developes new innovations for sneakers and clothes time and time again.
