In 1999 LRG, which stands for Lifted Research Group, was founded by Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright in the Orange County, California. The two of them intended to not only make clothing, but wanted to spread a message too. A lot of their t-shirts and hoodies are richly adorned with environmental motifs or symbols of primitive people. Especially popular is the „roots people“ print on multiple shirts, which is inspired by african culture. LRG sticks to it''s roots until today. Parts of all sales are donated to several environmental charities.
