Under Armour is a leading U.S. sportswear brand that specializes in functional sports clothing, sports accessories and sports shoes. Kevin Plank, former football player at the University of Maryland wanted to make life easier: he exchanged the heavy and fast sweaty cotton shirts from his team, against lightweight, breathable syntketik fiber shirts. His self-developed compression shirts quickly became famous, Plank soon sold them throughout the campus. What started in 1996 as a selfish idea, revolutionized the market for functional sportswear within a very short time
