The Group Phase of the Eurobasket 2015 is history. We’ve seen a lot of exciting basketball and numerous close games. It also has been a good display of which basketball shoes are popular amongst players. This is the follow-up on our Sneakerwatch Part I.
With the new LeBron 12, it s low-cut version and the KD 8, Nike holds signature lines with the two arguably best players in the NBA at this time. Plus they come in some really rad colorways.
Adidas counters with some unusual flashy colorways with its current Crazy Light Boost 2015 Model. Though the Adidas AdiZero Crazy Light 3 still seems to enjoy some popularity among the players. And obviously there’s also the Adidas D Rose 5 Boost, the signature shoes of Chicago Bulls Point Guard Derrick Rose.
The most popular sneakers still might be the Nike Kyrie 1, which hit the market in December 2014 and is worn by countless players. Then again, we spotted a lot of Kobe 10’s as well.
A shoe that has enjoyed a major popularity among big men around the world for years is the Nike Hyperdunk. We’ve seen it in all kind of different versions, including the 2012 (where did you still get those, Bargnani?!), 2014 and the current 2015 model.
Of course, a lot of other brands are represented as well, including Under Armour, Jordan, Peak and we are especially proud that Karsten Tadda of the German Team is wearing the low-cut K1X Paradoxum.
