The PUMA SUEDE is an absolute classic. Back in the '80s the Suede went hand-in-hand with the Adidas Superstar popularity-wise. When the hip-hop scene emerged, these were the shoes to go with. Thanks to a low-cut, the iconic Puma form stripe and its eponymic suede upper, the Puma Suede displays a plain look – without neglecting its fashion sense.

To remember everybody that Puma is still keeping it 100 with all of us, they proudly present the PUMA SUEDE PLATFORM GOLD - a refined remake of the legendary classic. Not much explaining has to take place referring to the shoe's naming: A golden toebox immediately strikes the eye. Adding to that, Puma brandings out of golden foil on the tongue and the side adorn the black exterior. But all that glistens is not gold. The continious, waxed laces provide a perfect fit and optically go perfectly with the superimposed Puma stripe – like the laces, black on black. As expected, the upper – as the name suggests – is still made out of suede. To top off the sneaker, a plateau sole out of rubber reflects the golden shine from the numerous accents and elevates the whole package to a different level.

Brand information: puma

In 1924 the two brothers Adi and Rudolf Dassler started manufacturing sportshoes. With a lot of effort they developed sneaker, which were exactly tailored for the needs of their athletes. Jesse Owens won four gold medals at the Olympic Games of 1936 wearing a pair of those Dassler shoes. But a few years later the two brothers went separate ways. In 1948 Rudolf Dassler founded Puma, which in later years would be primarily successful with football shoes. At the end of the 90s however Puma set the course for the new millennium. As the first sport equipment producer Puma worked together with a fashion designer – which turned out to be no one less than Jil Sander. Today the brand stands not only for high quality sport shoes, but also for extravagant lifestyle and ultramodern sneakers.
