JAMES HARDEN

MVP! MVP! MVP! It‘s official: James Harden is the MVP of the NBA 2017-18 season. Winning the award over none other than the King himself, LeBron James, and the Brow, Anthony Davis, the guard of the Houston Rockets deserves the Maurice Podoloff Trophy without any doubt. Most Valuable Player, let that sink in.

James Harden truly made NBA history with his superb season, so the MVP award was the only reasonable and ultimate outcome. Leading the league with 30.4 points per game while adding 8.8 assists and 5.4 rebounds to his stats, the Beard played one-of-a-kind. As if that were not enough, he broke the 50-point plateau multiple times. Four times in total, man that boy was locked in. Not to mention his epic game against the Orlando Magic on January 30th, when Harden dropped the first 60-point triple-double in NBA history. 60 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds!

I‘MMA BE A STAR

Harden not only made use of his ability to raise the level of his game, but applied this to the play of his teammates. Acquiring star point guard Chris Paul, the Houston Rockets were ready to take off at the beginning of last season – and that‘s exactly what they did. James Harden was spectacular all season long, but the entire team eventually stood out. The Rockets rolled right through the Western Conference with a crazy 65-17 record, beating 58 wins in a season for the first time in franchise history. The team from Houston claimed the regular-season title and clinched the No. 1 seed of the West against none other than the eventual 2018 NBA champs, the Golden State Warriors.

In the playoffs, the Rockets defeated the 8th-seeded Timberwolves in the First Round in five games, advancing to the Conference Semifinals, where they defeated the Utah Jazz in five games. During game seven of the Western Conference Finals, one win away from the NBA Finals for the first time since 1995, they broke yet another record. This time, not in their favor. The Rockets set an NBA playoff record by missing 27 straight 3-point shots. Losing 101 – 92, they paved the way for the Warriors to the Larry O‘Brien trophy.

adidas Harden Vol. 3

A shoe worthy of an MVP. Current Most Valuable Player James Harden has a new working tool, the Harden Vol. 3. Even more attuned to the unmistakable style of the Rockets Stars, this shoe provides first-class support for sideways movement and fast direction changes.

The Boost cushioning skilfully absorbs all jumps and the low shaft makes the shoe lighter and provides more freedom of movement. Harden's signature, logo and XIII for his jersey number complete the look, which of course also looks good off-court and makes the shoe fully streetworthy. For MVPs and those who want to become one: the adidas Harden Vol. 3.
