The Puma Sky Modern is a brand new Puma Hoops basketball performance silhouette based on the Sky LX model which was first released in 1985. This shoe features premium upper materials including leather hits, breathable mesh and suede overlays. Due to the ankle velcro strap and mid cut design the foot is kept secure during the game, while full-length ProFoam provides superior cushioning and optimal return of energy for a great bounce. The outsole is made with a new sticky rubber compound which makes for a high abrasion grip with peak stability. On the NBA hardwood the shoe is worn primarily by Puma’s latest addition, Lakers-Star Kyle Kuzma.

Brand information: puma

In 1924 the two brothers Adi and Rudolf Dassler started manufacturing sportshoes. With a lot of effort they developed sneaker, which were exactly tailored for the needs of their athletes. Jesse Owens won four gold medals at the Olympic Games of 1936 wearing a pair of those Dassler shoes. But a few years later the two brothers went separate ways. In 1948 Rudolf Dassler founded Puma, which in later years would be primarily successful with football shoes. At the end of the 90s however Puma set the course for the new millennium. As the first sport equipment producer Puma worked together with a fashion designer – which turned out to be no one less than Jil Sander. Today the brand stands not only for high quality sport shoes, but also for extravagant lifestyle and ultramodern sneakers.
