Fosters and Sons in Great Britain. The company was first and foremost successful with the development of running shoes. In 1958 two grandsons of Foster renamed the company to Reebok. It''s global popularity however began only in 1982, when the first women''s aerobic shoe called Freestyle emerged. Because of a mishap at the factory the shoe was made of glove leather, which back then was a revolution on the sneaker-market.
