K1X clothing started during the early 90s through a love and fascination of basketball. In 93, K1X sold a few T-shirts from the loading area of a pick-up truck and their popularity grew from there. The team grew up in Munich, Germany, and came together because of a shared interest in everything basketball – especially trainers. When K1X was first started, the founders were looking to find something distinctive and this search led them to pick up momentum and moved from a local phenomenon to a global brand.
Famous support for K1X clothing
Over the years K1X clothing has been supported by sportsmen like Lakers Small Forward, Metta World Peace, NBA legend Charles Oakley and pro-windsurfer Josh Angulo just to name a few. On top of their impressive sporting roster, K1X has taken over the music scene via the likes of So Solid Crew, Sean Price and Bobbito Garcia.
K1X lives by the mantra: "for ballers by ballers” and with that they look to provide a brand that mirrors their own experiences playing streetball games. K1X, sometimes referred to as Nation of Hoop, supply an alternative to mainstream brands. The product range consists of trainers, clothing and accessories.
