K1X clothing started during the early 90s through a love and fascination of basketball. In 93, K1X sold a few T-shirts from the loading area of a pick-up truck and their popularity grew from there. The team grew up in Munich, Germany, and came together because of a shared interest in everything basketball – especially trainers. When K1X was first started, the founders were looking to find something distinctive and this search led them to pick up momentum and moved from a local phenomenon to a global brand.
