With a history stretching back to 1906 New Balance is one of the true classic footwear companies. Originally founded as New Balance Arch Co. by British emigrant William J. Riley, its roots in making quality footwear are clear and remain true to New Balance trainers today. Already in 1938 it was producing shoes for running and the first New Balance trainers for basketball were custom made in 1941 for the Boston Braves. A further innovation came in 1978 when it made its first running shoe exclusively for women. And the brand continues to innovate.
American brand with values Though this is a global brand with a huge reach it remains at the same time local. New Balance trainers are the only athletic shoes still made in the U.S. Now the brand has entered into several sponsorship deals, including a 2015 deal with the renowned football club Liverpool F. C. New balance trainers are also now being sported by some top stars such as Aaron Ramsey, Samir Nasri or Vincent Kompany amongst others following its player sponsorship deals. New Balance trainers have been relevant for over 100 years with great tradition behind them. They show equally no signs of slowing down and continue to a top sporting brand worn by only the best stars,
