For three decades, KICKZ has stood for basketball authenticity.
In celebration of our 30th birthday, we are opening a new home for our baller community.
With 600 square meters of space directly at KuDamm 237, it's our biggest store yet:

Just in time for our 30th birthday, Germany's baller community is getting a new home. As the name "Home of Basketball" suggests, everything here revolves around the orange leather and the culture that goes with it. Because for us and millions of other basketball enthusiasts around the world, basketball is not just a sport, but an attitude, which is reflected in every corner of our new store. By Ballers for Ballers. From the front door, to the products, brands and to the staff. Everything in the 'Home of Basketball' was designed with our motto "Never Not Ballin'" in mind.

 

To showcase all facets of basketball culture, the retail space of our new flagship store was literally split in two into 'Hardwood' and 'Concrete'.

 

On one side, therefore, a real basketball parquet floor characterizes the performance area. Here you will find everything a baller's heart desires to actively practice the sport: among other things, the on-court signature shoes of all NBA stars and a comprehensive selection of training equipment and gameday accessories that a basketball player needs before, during and after the game.

 

Across from that is the BBall Lifestyle section, which features solid concrete flooring to set it apart from the Performance area. All products that reflect basketball style off-the-court, such as retro sneakers, NBA fan gear and caps can be found here.

 

The centerpiece of the new store, however, is the "Ballers' Club." This is a small but nice membership area for basketball players who are looking for a refuge among like-minded people before and after their game, or who want to regenerate with the help of free-to-use Hyperice equipment. Here you can play the latest version of NBA2K to your heart's content, chill out on the leather couch and help yourself to the "Basket Bar". In the customization area in the Ballers Club, apparel and headwear can be refined and individualized.

 

The unique design was conceived by the renowned Berlin design studio Metrofarm and implemented in a sustainable manner. For example, all footwear straps in the store were 3D printed from recycled PET bottles and the concrete used in the store was produced using reduced water consumption.
